Grocery dollars available to families this summer through new state SUN Bucks EBT program

A Message from Food Services

SUN Bucks is a new state program to help families buy groceries for their school-aged children during the summer; each eligible child will receive $120 on an EBT card.

Your child is eligible for SUN Bucks automatically if you already participate in SNAP, FDIPR, TANF or other programs directly certified by the Department of Social and Health Services, or if your household income meets the requirements for free or reduced-price school meals.

Some families will need to apply for the summer EBT program for the first time this summer and will need to have income eligibility established by the end of the school year.

  • If your child attends a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school, you will need to fill out the Family Income Survey to determine eligibility. District CEP schools are: Alderwood, Birchwood, Carl Cozier, Cordata, Happy Valley, Northern Heights, Roosevelt and Sunnyland elementary schools, Fairhaven, Shuksan and Whatcom middle schools; and Options and Squalicum high schools.
  • If your child attends a non-CEP school, you will need to complete the Free and Reduced Price Meals application. The non-CEP schools are: Columbia, Geneva, Lowell, Parkview, Silver Beach and Wade King elementary schools: Kulshan Middle School; 香港六合彩资料 and Sehome high schools.
  • If you have children at both CEP and non-CEP schools, please complete the federal Free and Reduced Price Meals Application and list all children at both types of schools.
