"The Threats to a Free Press and the Importance of Preparing Journalists of the Future." 

Michael Puente is an award-winning multimedia journalist with more than three decades in the industry. He is a reporter and weekend anchor for WBEZ Chicago Public Media. He also serves as president of the Chicago Headline Club. He is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Communications at Indiana University Northwest.
