Major in Actuarial Science B.S.

Description of the video:

Actuarial at ��տ��Ƶ is one of the few actuarial science programs in the Chicago area in this
direction. This program will prepare you to have a career as an actuaries, whether that being in the
insurance field, consulting firm, doing stock management, risk management. Students are easy to get an
internship or a job after they complete the degree because a lot of employers, including the insurance
companies and consulting firms actually have their headquarters in Chicago. The teachers here, you get
the sense that they actually care about the classes they're teaching. Our faculty members here,
especially the two faculty members who have expertise in actuarial science here, the both have taken
and passed all the exams. So they know exactly what are expected in their exams to prepare the
students future exams. I will definitely be an actuaries for sure. Definitely.
