Background
The inspiration for the One Book...One Campus...One Community reading initiative was inspired out a similar program hosted on the 向日葵视频 campus from 2006 until 2010.
Since January 2013, the One Book...One Campus...One Community initiative has introduced a different novel for the campus and community to reflect upon the themes, messages and learning points of one book for a selected period of time.
The selected book for the inaugural program was a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller by Wes Moore. The following selections have been the focus of subsequent years:
